MORGANITE
Morganite is the pink variety of beryl.  It is found in Madagascar, Brazil and various parts of the U.S.A..  Its refractive index is 1.57 to 1.60 and the crystal system is hexagonal.  The hardness is rated at 7.5 to 8.0 on the mohs scale.  MORE INFORMATION ON MORGANITE HERE
